U REG NO. : 223240112833 AVILA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, EDAKOCHI  Abstract   This article explores the role of language labs in enhancing students' listening proficiency in educational settings. Through a survey of 15 school students, findings reveal varied utilization levels, perceived effectiveness of resources, engagement preferences, encountered challenges, and overall satisfaction. While language labs offer potential for improving listening skills, underutilization and technical constraints pose challenges. Recommendations include optimizing resources, addressing infrastructural limitations, and adapting pedagogical strategies to maximize language lab impact on students' language proficiency.
